Tennessee football coach trying to get fired?

As if the NFL Tennessee Titans’ 0-6 record is not insulting enough, their head coach made a public appearance at a charity event wearing the jersey of the star quarterback of the rival Indianapolis Colts. Jeff Fisher, the Titans’ head coach, attended a charity event in the team’s home town of Nashville. When he went up to the podium to introduce Tony Dungy, a long time Indianapolis Colts head coach and Superbowl winner, Fisher shocked the audience by removing his shirt and jacket and revealing a Peyton Manning jersey underneath.

“I just wanted to feel like a winner,” said Fisher, whose team is winless this year after finishing 13-3 and winning their division in 2008.
When questioned about the stunt on the radio later on, according to The Tennessean, Fisher said, “I was introducing Tony, just having fun with it and I really apologize if I offended anybody, but if you’re offended over the nature of that type of thing, then I think you need to rethink things. I’m sorry if I offended anybody but if I had to do it again, I would do it again.”
